How to remove a Leather Stain of clothes

Follow these tips on leather stain removal and cleaning to get rid of those spots. Leather means any skin or hide that has been tanned, but after that the similarities end and the differences begin. Two main categories of leather require different cleaning techniques.
Natural leather has little surface protection and is highly susceptible to staining. It is not dyed with pigments, has no finish coat of polyurethane and is recognizable by its rustic, natural, appearance. Even water or treatments suitable bad credit loans for other kinds of leather, such as saddle soap, may mar its surface when cleaning leather stains.
Coated leather has a pigment-dyed surface treated with a polyurethane coating. Most – but not all – leather garments, upholstery, unsecured loans bags and shoes are coated leather.
A few guidelines apply to both kinds:

    • Test any cleaning method on an inconspicuous area before using it generally.

    • For any valuable leather article or serious cleaning problem, consult a professional, such as a dry cleaner who specializes in cleaning leather stains. Shops which sell leather goods may be able to guide you.

    • Avoid harsh cleaners and even excessive water, which can leave stains and remove dye and lubricants.

  • Never dry wet leather near a heat source.

To clean natural leather, rely on frequent dusting with a soft cloth. You could try removing dirt with an art gum eraser, available at stationary and art supply stores, but even that might leave a smudge. There is little more you can do without making a problem worse.
To clean coated leathers, dust regularly with a cloth, occasionally with a dampened cloth. Wash every 6 months or so with saddle soap, which is available at tack shops, sporting goods stores, some shoe stores and hardware stores. Here’s how:
1. Remove loose dirt with a stiff brush or damp cloth.
2. Rub a damp cloth on saddle soap and work up a lather.
3. Rub the soapy cloth on the leather using a circular motion. Wipe away the excess with another damp cloth. Let air-dry.
4. Buff with a clean, soft cloth.
5. Finish with a protective leather cream recommended by the manufacturer or a general-purpose one sold by leather retailers and supermarkets.
For leather stain removal on coated leathers, try these methods – but don’t forget to test first:

    • Apply cornflour to greasy spots and let it absorb the grease. Wipe off with a cloth.

    • Rub with a cotton wool bud dipped in isopropyl alcohol.

    • Make a paste of equal parts lemon juice and cream of tartar, work it into the spot (including scuff marks) with a cloth, let it stand for an hour or so, and wipe clean.

    • Been walking on the beach? Treat those ugly, white, leather stains on shoes and boots caused by salt with a 50-50 mixture of water and white vinegar. Dip a cloth into the solution and blot.

  • On mildew, use a 50-50 solution of isopropyl alcohol and water on a cloth. Saddle soap also may work.

Have you reached leather stain removal success? I hope so!

Lost In Translation: OST review 10/10

As we surf our way into an era where TV, film, music and the interweb all blend into one, multi-limbed homogenous beast (for the perfect example, see this month's School Of Rock film), it's still surprisingly rare to find a modern piece of celluloid which looks to form a musical partnership that will enhance as well as compliment the film. Most movies and accompanying soundtracks are ram-packed with commercial tie-ins and the usual sub-nu metal/industrial twaddle or the next Blink 182, bad credit loans or failing that, some sort of half-arsed 'electronica' effort designed to be ignored. In this respect, as well as musically, the OST to '_Lost In Translation' _is a spectacular triumph.
On her debut film, The Virgin Suicides, director Sofia Coppola roped in those Gallic muses, Air, to perform the whole soundtrack. And whilst this collection features a variety of artists (including Air again), the effect is largely the same. Over the course of an hour, 'LiT: OST' gently guides you through a myriad of woozy joys; from the film closing '_Just Like Honey_', by The Jesus And Mary Chain - which still stands as one of the greatest moments in the band's frequently great catalogue - to the dirge-y grandeur of My Bloody Valentine's still-sublime 'Sometimes', it's a beautifully-fashioned record that works completely outside of its film setting but also acts as a haunting centrepiece to the movie itself. unsecured loans
The draw for hardcore indie-ists will be that LiT: OST boasts the first new work by MBV mainman Kevin Shields for over a decade, and his four contributions are very well judged pieces of work; but it's other gems that inspire more; legendary (so I'm told) early 70's Japanese folk group, Happy Ending, offer the simple yet sweet 'Kaze Wo Atsumete', and the hip-for-five-minutes Phoenix, the brilliantly musically adept French MOR pop act, submit the fucking great 'Too Young'. Add the suitably filmic stop-start echoes of Air's 'Lost In Kyoto' and the almost confusingly gentle 'Tommib' by Squarepusher, and it's an accompanying CD that's as good as the film itself. Which is excellent indeed.

OS Mountain lion. Not MAC OS Mountain lion

Mountain-Lion
Apple OS X (10.8) Mountain Lion will be available for download this summer (2012), with the Developer Preview unleashed just hours ago. And those keyboard surfers have revealed an OS that looks like it’ll be bringing iCloud and the best of iOS to your Mac. unsecured loans
New features in OS X Mountain Lion include Messages (similar to iPhone), Notes, Reminders and Game Center on your Mac. There will also be a Notification Center, Share Sheets (making it easier to post photos and videos), Twitter integration and AirPlay Mirroring. There’s even a security tool called Gatekeeper that protects your software from viruses and helps you control what apps make it on your keep list. Paranoid for once, Apple?
Mountain Lion arrives sporting over 100 new features in total – all of which make your MacBook that much more like your iPad and iPhone. A Game Kit API that lets developers create multiplayer games across Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch sure makes it look like the beginning of the end for separate operating systems on different Apple devices.
News of Mountain Lion's arrival comes amid rumours of Android Jelly Bean and Windows 8 landing this summer. Google and Microsoft are aiming to synergise the operating systems of mobiles, tablets and computers – and it looks like Apple is aiming to do the same thing, especially with its impending MacBook overhaul. This could be a very pasty summer spent indoors. bad credit loans
One more thing. Did you notice Apple has dropped the Mac from its OS title? Just another piece of evidence to support the one-OS-to-rule-all theory.
